In the mood for a great chili dog?How about a milkshake? For 74 years Ann's has been serving both up in Glen Burnie with style. The deep fried dogs are always tasty, no matter how you take them. (Everything is chili, onions, and mustard). I usually do just chili. The shakes are smooth and delicious, not overly sweet. The fries are fresh, and have all the flavor in the world. It may look crowded, but the line moves fast. The counter is clean and the staff patient. They have to be. It's a bit overwhelming inside. Snap a selfie with the mascot out front, then get in line. And SHUT THE DOOR!
Good hotdog and fries at a decent price. It was busy when I visited though they keep the line moving and everything was done well. Plan on taking your order with you when they get busy.
Apparently this spot has been around since 1951, and that's crazy considering they don't have a large menu. But that's testament to how good everything must be. This was my first time, and I ordered a cone with rainbow sprinkles. My boyfriend had a strawberry shake. Both were amazing- and the milkshake is huge. The soft serve is to die for.
Walked through the doors and you could smell the goodness...small interior, but fill with PERSONALITY & the smell of GOODNESS...we were greeted upon entering the door...the service was quick, friendly, and patient with me and my EXTRA way of ordering(LOL)...she made sure that I got everything the way that I wanted and all my questions were answered with no problem..,the food was FRESH HOT and just simply DELICIOUS...I absolutely love when the full experience is just A plus... I will definitely be back because I had a five star experience at this GEM of a place...
Best Hot Dogs on the western shore. Yes, the waits can be long, but they are totally worth it, because the people behind the counter work fast and efficiently Their milk shakes are Great!!!
The ice cream is to die forrrrrrrrr. I'm a soft serve junkie, so this place automatically piqued my interest. I also heard that they have good chili dogs, so I decided to give those a try too. The ice cream was the perfect consistency. The chili dog had good flavor; however, the chili itself was pretty watery. Overall a great little place and I'd give them another try.
This is a very small restaurant with up to 8 seats at the counter. It was crowded on a Saturday afternoon. We only tried the chocolate milkshake for $4.50. It was rich and thick when compared to McDonald's. They also serve hot dogs, burgers, fries, and ice cream. It's best to get carryout here since space is tight.
